Tombstone Motel, Lodge & Backpackers

I liked the theme, my daughter especially loved the front door as it was shaped like a coffin and the graveyard across the road. I booked our stay there as she is very much into that type of thing. It was central to everything as well.

All the reviews are right. We had two family rooms at a great price. the two rooms slept 8 all together. Each room with ensuite.A lovely place with lots of facilities including a mini gym table tennis boardgames spa. many pretty outdoor places to sit and enjoy the view. Kitchen was the best at any backpackers we have been to - well equipped, clean and super functional. Entire place was well run, very clean and friendly. Loved the tombstone door and many sofas for relaxation.

Everything great. Staff, breakfast, room was super clean, shared rooms as well. Everything you need + jacuzzi! We really enjoyed our stay here. With my friends we made independently 2 bookings and when the gentleman saw we are friends he gave us immediately rooms next to each other without us needing to ask. That is what I call great customer service. Highly recommending this beautiful place. Plus cute cat.

Perfect location if you're travelling with a ferry and arriving late. It's a 2-min drive from the ferry terminal, so even though I arrived close to midnight, I was able to find my bed quickly. Easy access. Excellent value for money. I only stayed for the night, so didn't explore the place much but saw that there was a pool & table tennis option, so probably a nice place to hang out.

Lovely place in a good location ( also close to running tracks ) with good facilities( loved the pool billard and hot tub option- breakfast was great as well). We did arrive very late and had a little room hick up but Garry was super lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable 😊. Absolutely appreciated!! We had an awesome stay and were actually quite keen to go back a few days later if it wasn't booked out lol.
